Piloting environment for digitalisation in sheltered housing
The aim of the project is to design and implement a piloting environment for the digitalisation of sheltered housing on Metropolia’s new campus in Myllypuro so that various service providers can test and pilot their solutions as part of an environment for sheltered housing and meaningful independent living. The solutions to be piloted can include the following:
The piloting environment will be designed as part of the operations of Metropolia’s cluster for the promotion of wellbeing and health and Metropolia’s Metrocloud service. The piloting environment for the digitalisation of sheltered housing is the first phase in a three-part piloting process (digital laboratory, simulation home and actual sheltered housing environment). The pilot environment on Metropolia’s Myllypuro campus will also serve as an organic meeting place for companies and researchers in the field. The piloting environment will supplement the operations of the Myllypuro campus as part of a thriving and efficient innovating environment and provide easy access to campus services.
